Cancellation Policy

Eva Air allows flight cancellations up to 24 hours before departure, with only online or mobile app reservations allowed. Travel agencies must be contacted for bookings. All fare types can cancel tickets without penalty or fees within 24 hours. Cancellations within seven days of departure incur cancellation charges. Refunds for refundable flights are available, but non-refundable flights are not. It can take up to 10 business days to receive a refund. We recommend that you check in at least one and a half hours before the scheduled departure time. Counter opening times for check-in vary at each airport. Please contact the EVA Airport Office if you need more information.

Q-Can I order a special meal when I check in at the airport?

EVA provides special meals for dietary, medical and religious reasons. If a special meal is requested at the airport, there may not be enough preparation time. Please make any special meal requests when you make reservations.

Q-Can I buy a seat in the cabin for my baggage?

You can carry fragile, bulky items and/or musical instruments etc. into the cabin with you if the required number of additional seats are reserved and paid for in advance.
